Repairing a Phone Screen by replacing it with a new one.
Start with the first step as follows:
1. Turn off the phone.
2. Eject the SIM and SD card tray.
3. Pry off the back cover.
4. Clean off the old glue.
5. Unscrew the midframe screws.
6. Pry off the midframe.
7. Disconnect the 3 connectors.
8. Apply heat to the edges.
9. Pry off the screen.
10. Clean off the old glue.
11. Test a new screen before gluing.
12. The screen works fine and has no problems.
13. Peel off the protective film from the flex cables and camera.
14. Apply black glue T-7000 around the edges.
15. Assemble the new screen.
16. Connect the 3 connectors.
17. Assemble the midframe.
18. Insert the SIM and SD card tray.
19. Screw the midframe screws.
20. Apply clear glue T-8000 around the edges.
21. Assemble the back cover.
22. Wipe off any excess glue with a cloth dampened with alcohol or gently rub it off with your finger during the first 5-10 minutes.
23. Secure with rubber bands for 1 hour.
Remark : It takes 24 hours for the glue to be 100% fully dry.
